Sink Into Music
People, who are faced with an adversity, resemble skipping stones that are sinking. I believe music has the power to uplift anyone before he or she goes under and hits rock bottom. I have grown up in a world where music is life’s existence, it gives people a reason to breathe, a reason to have faith and hope. The complexity of a song is soothing. Music has changed my outlook on life overall. My father was a music producer and I have been accustomed to a variety of musical cultures over the years. These values have not only given me the opportunity to appreciate all genres of music, but to also accept other’s customs and beliefs based on his or her culture. Music is my security and reality; it is my motivation to keep going. It has taught me to respect all walks of life, and keep peace within my relationships. The most important thing music can teach a person is strength. In my observation of different people, I have come to realize that music is a common bond that brings people together. I feel that certain music finds you when you must need it to comfort you in all types of situations. By connecting to the spiritual side of music, I apprehend that no matter what difficult hardship is carried, I know that at least someone in this world understands me. Everything will be okay because the weight is a gift!
